‘Swingtown’ Actors Back at Work

No, the cast of Swingtown isn’t reuniting for a new season, but it’s the next best thing. Fans of the canceled CBS summer series will soon be able to see most of the Swingtown cast on their TVs again. Here’s a look at which new fall and midseason shows the Swingtown cast has landed on.

SwingtownJack Davenport

Then: Bruce Miller, a happily married stock trader whose perfectly, neat life begins to unravel when he and his wife move into a new home across the street from a pair of swingers.

Now: A role in ABC’s Flash Forward that’s better left unsaid.

Grant Show

Then: Swinger and airline pilot Tom Decker. The sky is no limit.

Now: Jenna Elfman’s commitment-phobic boyfriend/boss on CBS’ Accidentally on Purpose.

Josh Hopkins

Then: The very married and unhappy Roger Thompson, who’s in love with his wife’s best friend.

Now: Getting under Courtney Cox’s skin as her newly divorced neighbor, who’s already bedding twentysomethings, on the ABC comedy Cougar Town.

Lana Parrilla

Then: Tom’s wife, Trina, who finds herself shedding their swinger lifestyle for normalcy when she gets pregnant.

Now: CBS’ midseason show Miami Trauma, playing Dr. Eva Zambrano, “a workaholic surgeon who is more comfortable in her scrubs than she is out in the real world.”

Michael Rady

Then: Doug Stephens, a high school teacher who falls for the Millers’ daughter Laurie, who’s also his student.

Now: Aspiring filmmaker Jonah Miller on the CW’s new Melrose Place.

Brittany Robertson

Then: The Millers’ tomboyish next door neighbor Samantha, who bonds with son B.J., while dealing with her pill-popping, alcohol-guzzling mother.

luxrobertsonNow: Foster care kid Lux, who’s searching for her biological parents on the CW’s midseason show Life UneXpected.

Additionally, Swingtown executive producers Mike Kelley and Carol Barbee are back at work on new series. Kelley is executive producing the CW’s The Beautiful Life, while Barbee has the new CBS drama Three Rivers.
